Don Bureaux, President, Nova Scotia Community College and Karen Hutt, President and CEO, Nova Scotia Power Inc will lead a panel discussion.

CEO Safety Charter Steering Committee
Dr. Bernadette Gatien holds a Masters and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax Nova Scotia. She has been working and teaching in the field of occupational health and safety since 2005, at both the graduate and undergraduate level on such topics as leadership, human factors, organizational development, training and development and the psychology of learning. Her most recent accomplishments include co-authoring a text book on the topic of Occupational Health and Safety which is currently being used by various universities and colleges across Canada. Dr. Gatien’s research and work experience expands both the public and private sector and includes the construction, transportation, utility, IT and health industries. She has presented her work at various national and international conferences and is a current member of the CN Centre for Occupational Health and Safety.

This Lunch & Learn will be presented at the Nova Scotia Community College Ivany Campus (Theatre); Burridge Campus Room B144; and Kingstec Campus Room B246.
This Lunch and Learn session is designed for Senior Leaders and Safety Professionals and will provide an opportunity to network / liaise with each other on a topic relevant to all Nova Scotia organizations. The session will be presented by Stephan Turbide, General Manager for Pratt & Whitney, Halifax and a representative from the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
