Join us on October 20 for the 11th Annual NS Health & Safety Charter Conference, taking place at the Steele Wheels Motor Museum, 66 Otter Lake Court, Halifax.
The Steering Committee is pleased to present a forward-looking program focused on:
AI Opportunities for Workplace Safety
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the way organizations identify risks, strengthen prevention efforts, and support safer workplaces. This year's conference will explore how AI can help shape the future of occupational health and safety in Nova Scotia.
While final arrangements are being completed, we are pleased to announce two keynote speakers who will share different perspectives on the opportunities and practical applications of AI:
- Matt Symms, CEO and founding partner of Symplicity Designs
- Robert Newcombe, P.Eng., Founder and CEO of AI-First Consulting
In addition, a panel of Nova Scotia leaders will discuss their organizations' AI journeys, lessons learned to date, and their vision for the future. Together, these discussions will examine how AI can become a gamechanger in advancing workplace health and safety and helping make Nova Scotia's workplaces among the safest in Canada.
Conference Schedule
- 8:00 a.m. – Registration and light breakfast
- 9:00 a.m. – Conference program begins
- 12:30 p.m. – Program concludes, followed by a networking lunch
As a Charter Signatory Leader, we encourage you to honour your commitment to workplace health and safety by making every effort to attend this annual event.
Registration fees vary based on the number of employees in your Nova Scotia workforce and the following cost per category covers two attendees:
- Under 50 NS Employees - $300
- From 50 to 199 NS Employees - $500
- From 200- to 499 NS Employees - $850
- Over 500+ NS Employees - $1100
- Additional Registrants - $200
* Important to note - when registering please pick quantity of 1 in the appropriate price category, as the price listed is for two registrants. You will be asked for both registrants names and titles later in the process. For more than two registrants per organization, please select the additional registrants category to add additional registrants from your organization. (subject to space availability)
There are no physical tickets for the event. Registrants will receive name tags at registration, which is why we ask for the name and title of each registrant. Thank you.
