PROMOTING MENTAL HEALTH BY DESIGN: A LUNCH & LEARN

Promoting mental health is an integral part of our mandate to make Nova Scotia the safest place to work and live in Canada. The role workplace design plays in supporting mental wellness is one many have yet to consider. That’s what this lunch & learn is about.

This Lunch & Learn will be held on May 23, 2019 at the Ivany Campus of the NSCC (and other NSCC locations as required).

We are fortunate to be joined by three dynamic Speakers:

1. Dr Krista Jangaard – President & CEO, IWK Health Centre

2. Asa Kachan – Chief Librarian & CEO, IWK Health Centre

3. Scott Armour McCrea – President, Armour Group Ltd.

Each will discuss the critical importance of how properly designed workplaces and public spaces can increase interaction and enhance mental health.
