Save the Date Fall 2018 Conference

Your Steering Committee has set October 17, 2018 at Pier 21 in Halifax as the date and place for our 3rd Annual Conference on “. The program is being finalized and will feature a Plenary Session on Health & Safety Governance and two breakout sessions, one on “Cannabis Legalization- Where are we Now” and a second on “Supervisor Engagement” Registration information will be sent out in the near future.

As a reminder, The CEO Safety Charter has no annual dues but each Signatory has committed to attend if possible the Fall Conference and registration fees cover two representatives. All Senior Leaders are encouraged to make every effort to attend and exchange ideas and successes with over 100 leading organizations employing over 100,000 Nova Scotians.

Mental Health Lunch & Learn

On May 17 we held a very successful Lunch & learn hosted by the NSCC at their Ivany, Kingstec and Burridge Campuses with almost 70 attendees. The Power Point Presentation by Sapna Mahajan of the Mental health Commission of Canada is on our website and the link is NSCC PowerPoint Presentation.
